Shiny abra teleported pokemon lets go3/17/2024 ![]() I was level grinding on some Chanseys in Poni Plains when I encountered it. I caught my first ever shiny this year, a Cottonee! It just so happens that it's also my favorite color - orange. Now this was post game and Octillery wasn't part of my main game team but I did train it up to around level 70. I was using random rods to try to switch things up and decided to use a good rod once just to add in some variety as my chain increased. The closest thing to this that happened in the main games is that I was chain fishing in Y with my shiny Octillery at the lead of my party. Now if I can get a third to complete the line. Yesterday I found another shiny Swinub so I evolved it and now it is a Piloswine. It was just to much for me so I boxed it. A little while later I found a shiny Swinub. I replaced the Mareep on my team with the shiny. A little while latter I found a shiny Mareep. ![]() I caught a Mareep and Swinub to put onto my main team. I caught the Mintch however I didn't feel like grinding it up to the rest of my team I put it in my PC.Īnother fangame I play is pixelmon. As I'm grinding I come up across a shiny Mintch. I was playing pokemon vega after reading Merritt's let's play of it and I was grinding up my Mintch. I have weird shiny luck when it comes to pokemon fan games. The very next day I got another Shiny Zekrom and it was Adamant that time. ![]() I was pretty disappointed but didn't make a large fuss of it. I soft reset for one for about a week, and when I got it, it was Gentle despite my Adamant synchronizer. The only one I feel like noting after Poison Lips is my Shiny Zekrom that I called Tesla Claw. Most of my Shiny experiences since then has either been something like "I hunted this and got it after x SR's" or "I ran into this while horde/SOS-chain training". It's lost to time now because it didn't really have much sentimental value to me so I didn't really care.Īfter that, I don't think I ever caught any shinies aside from stuff like the National Park Haxorus in B2/W2, so I didn't get another shiny until I decided to breed for my first shiny, my Qwilfish bred in AS that I named Poison Lips. The first non-Red Gyarados shiny I caught was Stantler, I knew what shinies was this time, but still didn't really care for them. I think the first shiny I ran into was a Nidoran male with the poke radar in Platinum, which happened to be the very first time I tested out the Pokeradar and thus I thought "Oh, the Pokeradar makes these different color Pokemon appear 100% of the time, that's cool, I guess" and ran from the Nidoran. But that didn't stop me from catching and breeding a couple of shinies. Once I found out what IVs were and how that worked, I was more interested in getting perfect IV Pokemon. However, even before that, I've always had quite little interest in shinies. You should be set to hunt for a shiny Abra of your own.Spending 3000+ hours in gen 6 breeding, training and soft resetting, I've been bound to run into many shinies when I've played. ![]() If it can't escape, you're doing everything correctly. I would recommend letting the first Abra you find use Teleport. Once you get to the grass you will chain in, equip the Pokeradar, put your Arena Trap Pokemon in the front of your party, spray a repel, and save. Abra can be found more often on Route 203, but it's higher level at Route 215. Abra can be found on Route 203 and Route 215. Now that you're done preparing, it's time to decide where to hunt. Make sure to have more than 40 PP among your attacking moves. I went to the Pastoria City move relearner and taught it some good moves for heart scales. ![]() Make sure to check it's ability before starting. It's already at a high level and it can have Arena Trap as it's ability. A Pokemon with Arena Trap should be fine. If you're looking for a shiny Abra in the wild, you'll have to bring a Pokemon that prevents it from using teleport or something that prevents its escape. If you don't know how the Pokéradar works, you can find a good tutorial for it here. I will go ahead and explain how to chain for Abra like I did. ![]()
